Stream Setup

Make a stream. Copy the link. Watch.

Go Live gives you the two OBS boxes. Friends use the viewing link.

Quick summary

  • Go Live: copy URL for OBS and Stream Key.
  • OBS: paste them in.
  • Friends: open URL for viewing.

Get your stream

  1. Sign in.
  2. Open Go Live.
  3. Copy URL for OBS and Stream Key.

Sign in if asked.

OBS

  1. Open OBS.
  2. Go to Settings > Stream.
  3. Set Service to Custom....
  4. Paste your server URL and stream key.
  5. Start streaming.

Best settings:

  • Video codec: H.264
  • Audio codec: AAC
  • Keyframe interval: 2 seconds
  • Rate control: CBR when available

VLC

  1. Open VLC.
  2. Go to Media > Open Network Stream.
  3. Paste the RTSP URL for apps from Go Live.
  4. Click Play.

If it stutters, add caching.

VRChat

  1. Join a world with a video player.
  2. Open the URL box.
  3. Paste the RTSP URL for apps.
  4. Submit.
